Web of risks

Web of Risks
I never had a situation like that happen to me but my just talked to me last night about that. I found it pretty funny when Mr. Tapia read that to us. My friends have posted stuff like that on the Internet but none of them have been rejected from a job or school because of it “Knock on Wood”. If I were hiring someone who had a Face book or MySpace page I would check it out. If I saw pictures of them wasted or on drugs I would think about it. First I would have an interview and see how they are. Then if they were very professional I would hire them and see how it goes from there. But if they weren’t I wouldn’t hire them. I wouldn’t just reject someone because of his or her pictures that is there own business. If it interfered with their job, then I would take action.

I will have to choose scenario B. First off it is an easier scenario than the first one in my opinion. The only thing I do in a situation like this would be to just keep going with my ideas. If he doesn’t like my idea so be it. I will get other opinions on them by big producers or companies. I would listen to his ideas and be professional but at the same time I would just write what I have in my head just in case they don’t like his idea I have mine to fall on too. I would probably tell my co-workers that he is an egotistical maniac and if he doesn’t decide to cool down I would quit and move on to another movie.

Edge of your seat

Edge of your seat
The last movie I watched that left me on my seat was Heat. This movie Heat starred by Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro . Pacino was a cop and DeNiro was a Bank Robber. This movie kept me on the edge the whole time from the beginning to the end. In the beginning when DeNiro and his crew held up an armored trucked was just amazing. The action was perfect and the way they did it was so professional. Toward the middle of the film was the best part. The Bank robbery scene, where they have the biggest shoot out ever. Police officers dying and vehicles just getting torn up by bullets was just an adrenaline rush. The end was very heart pounding to because you have Al Pacino chasing Robert DeNiro through an airport mono e mono. The style in which it was shot made more intense and exhilarating. Al Pacino ends up shooting Robert DeNiro and catches him.

Back story and riddles

Back Story and Riddles

Through out the movie The Dark Knight, Heath Ledgers character The Joker gave certain back-stories to his scars. Why does he do this? I think he does it just to scare his victims and to show a darker background than what they thought might of happen to him. I think the first one he tells is truer than the second because through out the movie he says he hates his father. So by saying that it kind of persuades us into believing the first story more. I think personally that there is a method to his madness because from all the things he has down leads up to the changing of Harvey Dent. He shows us how someone of such greatness can fall to such a low level. Also his destructions are test fro Batman because it starts to make him think of who he is and how he should overcome his problems.

BURNING HOUSE

BURNING HOUSE

If my house was burning down and I only was able to grab five DVDs; I would pick A Clockwork Orange, Jaws, The Dark Knight, Terminator and The Shinning. I would take these movies because they mean a lot to me in many ways and they are just awesome movies. First A Clockwork Orange, Stanley Kubrick made this movie. He is great filmmaker and writer. This movie was so different for the time it was made in because it dealt with a lot of violence and a crumbling society. It was written so well and the actor was superb. Malcolm McDowell played Alex very well; he was sinister, rebellious and intelligent. The different shots, sets they had just made the movie so realistic and believable. The next movie I would take would be Jaws, Steven Spielberg’s second movie and one of his best movies. Jaws made cinematic history back in ’75. It was a masterpiece and an instant classic. This movie shows me if you are dedicated to the line of work you are in you can do great things. Making this movie was hell for everyone who was doing it. The shark was the big problem, it would work have the time and area they were in had boats coming in and out of shots. The weather wouldn’t help them either. So the movie Jaws is inspiration to me.

Sci-Fi Blog

The best Sci-Fi character ever created was the Terminator from Terminator 2 Judgment Day. He was a machine sent from the future and was pretty much unstoppable to the human man. Also during the movie he was able to learn and adapt to the human race by listening to John Connor (Edward Furlong) the boy he had to protect. The Terminator showed that one human life can save the world and is worth protecting. Now the best Sci-Fi villain ever created was I think the zenomorph alien from the movie Alien. This creature was so aggressive and well adapted to its survival and hunting skills. Because it was so clever and untraceable, it was very difficult for the crew of the ship to kill it. This alien shows that even with high tech equipment and weapons, natural instincts can still win in battle.
The best movie villain to me was the terminator from the movie The Terminator. This type of villain was so new to cinema that is was one of the most popular villains in cinematic history. Arnold Swarchzenegger played the character so well, he was able to show how a machine can care about nothing except for the mission he is on. And that he will do anything to complete it even if it means taking out a whole police station. The machine showed no pity, no remorse or fear and it wouldn’t stop until Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton) was dead and Arnold pulled that one very nicely. Because of his great work on that character a new movie villain was born, The Terminator. Thanks to James Cameron we were able to see the greatest Sci-Fi villains and heroes of all time in the movies The Terminator, Aliens and Terminator 2 Judgment Day.
